If at any time durring your layaway you find another item in the store that you like more you are always welcome to swap. (shhhhh, don`t tell anyone but we will often accept less down and a smaller payment plan if requested.)

Yes. You still own your items while they are in pawn. Jewelry is all kept in safes and not touched until you come to redeem it. Electronics, tools, etc� are all kept in our storage room where it is also not touched until you come to redeem it. We are fully insured and our large customer base can tell you why they trust us.
We do our best not to take stolen merchandise. It is our policy to turn away anything that we believe has been stolen. We work very closely with the Prince Georges County Police Department so that on the seldom occasion someone brings in stolen merchandise the original owner can easily have access to it and the thief is prosecuted. Less then � of 1 percent of merchandise is identified as stolen. All pawn transactions are filed electronically with the police department.
We do not take TVs older then 5 years. We do not take firearms. We do not take computers more then 4 years old. All items are considered but we cannot guarantee without seeing the item first. You must be the owner of the item in order to pawn or sell it.

You must bring 2 forms of identification. The first must be a drivers or non-drivers government issued ID. The second should be either a social security card, credit card, military ID, or other form of ID with your name on it. (Social Security card is preferred.)

If you pawn your item you have 30 days to pay the loan amount plus interest to retrieve your item or just the interest to extend the loan for an additional 30 days. If you do not come within 30 days your item may go out for sale. The majority of our customers redeem or pay to extend their items.
A pawn is a short term loan in exchange for something of value. (ie: jewelry, electronics, tools, etc...) The loan can be for $5, $20, $50, $100 or more. The loan amount plus interest must be paid within 30 days or you may pay just the interest to extend the loan for an additional 30 days. You may extend the loan as many times as you would like. The average loan is for $60. The item being pawned must be yours and you must bring two forms of identification. (ie: drivers license, social security card)
